Ya'll can finally schedule texts now.

You were paying $1k for a phone....where you couldn't schedule texts. That Apple Ecosystem has ya'll in a chokehold.

I will say I wish it were easier to do this on Android. I have to either remember the bs on Google Voice or use third party app that want payment or stop after 30 seconds.

Maybe I’m just an old but why would you need to schedule texts?

I do it to not look like I'm at my phone all day (which I'm not), if someone has a birthday, I schedule it maybe a day in advance bc they're probably in a different time zone. I do the same thing for business emails bc it's pretty asynchronous. I'd rather set something to send at 8 AM someone else's time at 12 AM my time so they don't feel pressured at seeing it come in in the dead of night.

Basically; I look like I care by scheduling things days in advance.

Ahhh the birthday thing would come in handy. For the fifth year in a row since I moved to a different country, I’ve missed wishing my best friend back home happy birthday on his actual birthday in his time zone and I always feel terrible. I even asked him the night before what sort of plans he might have. (He doesn’t care much about his birthday, or so he claims, but I do 😭)

That said we don’t talk on iMessage, just FB, soooooo
