I’m sorry that happened to him :( I saw the video yesterday, she was out of order! Of course you have idiotic men, including 50 cent claiming no charges were filed so it’s not assault and that it was an aggressive come on. Wild how some people will say well what about men too to downplay women’s complaints but then turnaround and say shit like that.

I am sorry this happened to him and I know he's young and is likely still in shock, but this: "...I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed" is just blatantly false. Sexual assault happens to people of all genders, but it's not automatically taken seriously when it happens to women. I wish male victims of sexual assault did not automatically cite a role reversal to argue why what happened to them was wrong.

Sorry to offload but I will lol: I was groped a few years ago, it was around midnight. I was walking home from work and some guy followed me and started a convo with me. Anyway, it was my first experience of the sort and it fucked me up for a few months. I’m over it now. I never reported it bc I thought it was minor and my experiences with police were shit. So I was surprised at how affected I was.

I hope he can heal, like I did and to hear that we (ppl with empathy) don’t think it was minor.
