I'm not scared of the dentist. But then I didn't get my first filling until I was 35 so.

lol. The bragging part comes when I tell the dentist I grew up on tank water. Blows their mind every time.

Good teeth was the one good thing genetics gave me. Otherwise it’s all poor mental health and immune issues.

I like my dentist because she lets me ask questions and talks and IDK makes me feel very comfortable. I never used to like going, but there's something about my new one that puts me at ease. I go to a gum specialist and she's lovely. I'm terrified of things happening to my gums and teeth because they're irreplaceable.

I would never get veneers unless I was advised to. I don't get how people can get them when their teeth are fine.

UNfortunately, there is a lot of dental issues in my family on top of me having Celiac Disease, so I regularly have to have dental work done. I be in and out of there, no needle no nothing scares me anymore. I still have all but 2 of my teeth, 2 of them lost the fight. 2 of them went out with a bang on me, a dental abscess. I was lookin like the Forever Alone face meme. I was so bad, they called a whole TEAM of students to come over and look at me. I was like, damn ( ... )

Veneer breath. Omg.
Like their teeth are probably rotting underneath the veneer. I can’t. Getting them on a few teeth is whatever, but all your teeth is crazy.

someone i know got veneers to correct very crooked top teeth that she caused by being a thumb sucker. every time she opens her mouth it startles me because they're so white, perfect, and don't seem to fit her face. i'm not sure if that's just because i saw her for all of my life with the crooked teeth though.

my nail tech got braces a few years ago and her teeth were severely overcrowded; one on top of another or all smushed together (she had extra teeth!!). removed the extra teeth and the braces have done a helluva job over the last few years and her smile looks wonderful.

people want immediate solutions to problems that are best left tended to overtime

I feel her. My teeth are awful. If I could afford it I would get them too. Or better yet those dental implants

I am scared of the dentist, but my new dentist is amazing and makes me feel very comfortable.

Although I've always been self-conscious of my teeth because they have white splotches. It makes them always look discolored.
