This is a really sad story :( Sounds like he may have overheated and got disoriented.

Thank you bb! I was doing most of it on mobile which didn't help lmao

Also sad that's it's such bad news, but I saw quite a few people were fans of his in the last post and thought it deserved an update :(

Greece has some really intense beaches and it's hot as hell.

I frequently go to Cyprus to this little beach but I never let my boyfriend go for walks alone since surroundings are so steep and dangerous.

This sounds like I'm blaming his wife, which I'm not.
Poor family terrible way to die.

People really underestimate the heat and how quickly it can knock you out. I lived in a country where it would easily hit 40 C in the summers, and when its a dry heat you don't even notice you're sweating as it evaporates off of you so fast. Before you know it, you're dehydrated and it's so easy to feel dizzy and collapse/trip/fall.

A few years ago, I had a Dr.appointment and got there a five minutes early so I sat in my car to wait. It was during the height of covid, so you couldn’t sit in the waiting room. It was warm out, but my car didn’t feel too hot. The nurses yelled at me for sitting in my car.

Yeah, last year my dumb self decided I was going to only have a Celsius for breakfast and then spend hours at the beach for a sand castle contest. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ The only thing that probably saved me from passing out was my age and that after a couple of dizzy spells from standing up too fast, I decided to do everything sitting down for a while. Learned my lesson for sure
