*whispers*I didn't like brat*whispers* I gave it a few rotations and it made sense why the singles were singles. It feels kinda shitty to say this because song of the songs I'm gonna critique are about depression and grief but I found those super weak, the lyrics a bit just there, the production behind it not inspired, idk. And I found girl, your so confusing weird.

Anyways the Peggy Gou album I really enjoyed. The Villano Antillano collab was super unexpected to me but I really loved it. The Lenny Kravitz song was good too.

In regards to upcoming music I'm so excited for the next magdalena bay album, I liked the single they just released.

Omg how could I forget to comment on RAYE - Genesis was so so good!! She's just such a unique artist.

I am a longtime Charli XCX fan and while brat is overall a good album, it also has some of her weakest work. The fact that she's getting so much critical acclaim for it feels like an overcorrection to her being underrated for so long!

Aurora’s album is fucking fantastic, super strong! I ordered the vinyl in advance with the signed postcard and it’s so beautiful.

Can’t wait to see her live for the fifth time this fall and probably in 2025 for the sixth time!

LOVED brat. it was everything i hoped it would be!

Also aphex twin digeridoo ep, as an expanded version was just released. many gorgeous acid tracks on it that i was happy revisiting!

I finally saw challengers, so have listened to the score a bit, ESPECIALLY brutalizer and its variations. trents best soundtrack work since ken burns vietnam war doc imho!

They got back together early last year and released some new songs last fall through this spring. I really like all the new stuff they’ve put out so far.
