I hated Blade Runner 2049 because it was just over-the-top misogynistic/masturbatory imo so maybe having women as protagonists will help me enjoy 2099. NOT TO MENTION how much the overall Blade Runner universe takes so much from Asian aesthetics but there’s never been an Asian protagonist??? So, that’s another thing 2099 already has going for it and I love Michelle Yeoh!
