No.

I haven’t seen it. I’m just saying no because I want Hacks to sweep comedy categories.

The Bear is a comedy. Its just thst its lead character is straight out of a hour long drama.

I have been meant to see this show for a while! Wish it’d be available to stream on Netflix bc I’m too lazy to hop on another streaming platform to watch, lol. At least I’ve seen several clips that got me stressed tf out and had to remind myself that I’m not in the kitchen right now lmao. This show will be an trigger for me even tho I genuinely enjoyed my job so it’s an good reminder for me personally and professionally 😮‍💨 lmaooo.

Absolutely not. They went the comedy route to not have Succession as competition. Who can blame them. I don’t think it’s fair to actual comedy shows though and it is 100% category fraud imo.

Every few months I see people on Twitter defend it by posting the maaabye 10 moments of humor within 2 seasons of this show. I guess people don’t understand that even dark shows have light moments lol

It is a fantastic show though. Great acting, great writing.

Ironically, I think Succession was more comedic than The Bear.
But The Bear does have a lot of comedic moments, but is not laugh in your face comedy. Small moments here and there.

Both shows blurred the line between drama/comedy really well. And I'm glad they didn't compete against each other because both of them deserve awards.
