There's no way she has. Eta: I did see on one of her glam team's Instagram, someone being judgy and asking how can she smile and laugh and be okay after her mom died and her glam squad member answered "she's NOT okay." Like, she's going through this shit in the public eye and people judging her. She's a strong woman because it couldn't be me.

And this memoir, she has to navigate entitled Elvis fans, crazy Michael Jackson fans, legal AND scientology? I don't envy her one bit.

Jfc that makes me raaaaaage. I mentioned this in previous posts but “friends” judged me for laughing and telling stories at my dad’s memorial and it’s like “maybe because it’s nice to feel ‘normal’ every now and then???”

Conspiracy theory time: both Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley left the Church of Scientology at some points in their lives. I wouldn't put it past the CoS to pull some bullshit about LM still owing them for classes or for not fulfilling their billion year contract. And it's not completely unthinkable that they'd try to fake paperwork to get Graceland. The whole Nigerian scam thing sounds fake af.

Even if they did discover that it was the CoS behind it, they may not want to say anything because of the absolute nightmare that could come from that. They've got decades of dirt on Priscilla alone.

honestly i think this has likeliness to be the case, or at least be related. i feel like unfortunately for riley being born into scientology probably follows you your whole life, even if you and your family leave it

See, I'm not so sure, especially since the FBI is now involved. Does scientology really want that smoke? Why wouldn't they just file a claim for ~services rendered, especially since it was well known Lisa was out?

Between tmz saying it's one individual, and "I have real thoughts about who this is. I just feel so sad that Riley has had to go through this," I unfortunately think it's someone closer to Riley, and for her sake, I hope I'm wrong.

This is like the third or fourth time it's been implied by "sources" that the call is coming from inside the Presley house.

I'm really in awe of her and also have a newfound respect for her. This is A LOT for one person to deal with, and that she's managed to do so with grace and dignity, all while working and raising a family, is incredible. Legacies are a privilege for sure, but they can also be a big burden. I just hope people leave her the fuck alone and let her have the space and time to grieve in peace.

So perfectly said. I can only imagine a lot of comments outside of ONTD will lack empathy because she is “rich” (I put that in quotes because we never really know for a lot people) when no amount of money can fix something like this.

She hasn't had a moment to just grieve or rest in the last two years all while having a new baby. I genuinely hope she can get that time to process and just BREATHE in a peaceful way soon. She's handling it all publicly in a very graceful way but she shouldn't be held to that so often.

It’s heartbreaking how she can’t enjoy her success without having to also deal with all this bullshit.

It looks like her inner circle (friends? Husband? Dad?) organized her birthday gorilla this year after skipping last year (since she was 12, Lisa Marie sent a dancing person in a gorilla suit to wherever Riley was for her birthday) and are continuing her mom's tradition for her, so it looks like she's got a solid group of support behind her.

When my mom passed I tried to keep the tradition of putting packs of socks in everyone's Christmas stockings alive and everyone said they really appreciated it and it especially helped our first Christmas without her. I know socks are thought of as a kind of terrible Christmas gift but especially as adults we actually ended up being super grateful because it meant our broke asses never had to spend money on socks all year. And now it will also be a little tribute to someone who isn't here anymore so it feels a little special.
