My report from a shorter than expected first day of Alexander Zverev's assault trial.

His defense team was able to attack the claims of the alleged victim, his ex-girlfriend.

Her lawyer says they're trying to undermine her credibility.

From what the media have said he will only attend if the judge requested it. Seeing as most of his defence seems to be his lawyers discrediting her account, I don't know if that's gonna happen.

He seems very confident he's going to win but he seems to be a pretty stupid person, so who knows. I find it hard to believe the prosecutor went to a judge with a weak case.

I hate this man so fucking much. Also hate the ATP for constantly whitewashing the allegations, propping him up and all the spineless ATP players who pretend to be blind dumb and deaf when it comes to their bestie.
