i’ve seen preshow promo for backspot at basically all of my movie showings in the last month and i do think i’ll check it out eventually.

i saw furiosa last weekend and really dug it, so its box office performance is a bummer. at the same time, i hate the current emphasis on “huge opening weekend or bust.”

this weekend i plan to see hit man while it’s at a theatre near me. cross your fingers that cineplex isn’t still having a scene points glitch so i can get my tickets for free.

Fury Road opened second to Pitch Perfect 2 (lmao) and now it's considered one of the all-time greats, so ya know!

Does Diane Keaton still full-heartedly support Woody A.?

No need for me to accept that tooth-first acting she does, sorry to Alfre Woodard.

In a Violent Nature is definitely high up on my list of things to watch.

Reading the summary of Handling the Undead made me thing it was something similar to the show Les Revenants - but having watched the trailer I'm intrigued!

idk how to bold, but i saw In a Violent Nature at the seattle film festival and it was really well done. some truly disturbing and memorable kills, and it was really well paced and negotiated a good balance of self-aware in a funny away without being excruciatingly so.

curious about handling the undead!
