They says millennials found Marnie selfish, while Gen Z says she is prioritizing self-care.

These kids have zero idea, Marnie was super selfish. This line is imprinted on my brain "I have bruises from the massages I have to get to deal with your drug addiction".

I loved the first seasons but the show went for too long and the ending was meh at best.
But it was about imperfect, annoying, entitled people. It's unfair how much criticism unlikable women get on television (Carrie Bradshaw being another example). Allison says here that the audience assumed the four actresses were just like their characters, while the men were perceived as "actors" and that was definitely true.

I loved their reunion and the fact that he did not watch her show and his being utterly oblivious to memes and tik tok lol.

I say it in every Girls post but I need to do a rewatch. Maybe when I finish my OC rewatch.

Also not sure what sort of amnesia I've had but I barely remember any of the plots, the songs they sang, him lasting three (3!) seasons. Damn
