Sure I mean but the music could eventually feel like a job if you were to find success in it. I've seen celebs on both the music and acting mention it becoming less fun the minute they hit a certain level of fame.

I can understand this. I’m leaving the industry I’ve been in for 20 years because I was on autopilot and became miserable amongst other things. Scary part now is finding a new niche.

Honestly? Not really…which is strange with how my mind operates. I also thankfully have a lot of connections and worse case scenario I can go back into the same field in a different capacity. I’ve felt the most free and actually happier than I’ve been in years these past couple months and I’m financially ok to take the rest of the year off, not that I plan on doing that, but I’m going to enjoy my birthday next week , see some old friends and older family members next months then get down to business.

Congrats and good luck on your next step.

I think a lot more people would do as you're doing but it takes a mix of financial stability, circumstance, and courage. We saw this in the first couple years of COVID.
