One of my closest friends is a devoted catholic gay man and maybe it’s cause I live in a very religious country (Brazil), but yes, religious gay men (and women) are surprisingly common here. I know, it really doesn’t make sense to me either lol

my cousin in Poland is a closeted and very religious gay. I... don't get it. His lifestyle is quite obvious and still he also goes to church every day, reading religious biographies and everything.
