The Dodo is setting celebrities up on blind dates with shelter dogs in a new series called #DodoDreamDate. So far, Amanda Seyfried, Chris Pine, Kaley Cuoco, Maggie Q, Nikki Glaser, Lala Kent, and Richa Moorjani have all gone on dates.

This is so nice! If I were a celebrity and they invited me to do this, I'd have to decline. I would be a mess and would want to take them all home with me.
I attempted to volunteer at an animal shelter once but I am not strong enough. I cry instantly. I much rather offer financial aid when I can.

I'm the same way. I have to offer financial support, because I'm way too fragile to actually volunteer and not go home crying every day lol.

Same. I cry nearly everyday just from watching The Dodo's yt. I would be inconsolable getting close than that. I don't know how people do it, but I'm so grateful there are others who can do what I cannot.

I want another dog so bad but I am not having luck finding the right one. There are so, so many pitbulls that need to be adopted but I can’t. It makes me feel terrible.

my neighbor keeps getting pitbulls that runaway because they tie them up in their backyard without a fence, and it drives me mad. they should be on a do not adopt to list, but i'm sure they'll find other ways to get one.

my dog hates their current one. she runs inside every time she hears it. :(
