The show after the time skip was insufferable garbage with constant affirmations of love like everyone was in some cult.

I never watched OTH, just saw ads for it all the time, but yeah, this set seemed like a nightmare.

Finding out Mark whats-his-face is a creep wasn't a shock to me considering the way the girls in One Tree Hill would slutshame each other constantly (more than in any other teen drama I've ever watched) and get into physical fights over mediocre boys.

Lucas, Peyton, Nathan, and Haley were an absolute snoozefest, Brooke was the only one in that group that had any charisma.

Brooke is the most interesting and complex character of the show, by far.

Similar thing just happened to a friend of mine where she was treated like dirt at her old job and they didn't renew her so she had to take a demotion.

It's already been a great move just from the sheer relief of not being around such toxic racist and sexist people. She's already so much happier.
