Spotify sold 'Car Thing', discontinued it 3 years later, and is now bricking all of them without offering refunds

But still, this is ridiculous. I keep hearing about Amazon thinking about stopping all development of Echo devices, too, since people aren't using them to buy stuff like Amazon wants.

Also I don't think the bionic eyes just were shut off by the company, but they did stop servicing them and laid off the techs - which should still be illegal when it involves something this important. Planned obsolesce should also be banned.

Amazon can definitely sell the data of people using Echo devices unless you're like my mother and forgets she has it and only uses it to play Pandora and no one wants to pay for that.

There's even a cassette to AUX adapter for the even more vintage cars! (It looks like a cassette which you put in the player, but it has a cable coming out to plug into your phone/mp3 player :D)

😅 Well, where I live, 30-year-old cars are considered "vintage" and can get registered in a special category with different taxes and number plates! Mine was from 1995 (rip) and I upgraded the radio thing to one with a cd player eventually, but the cassette adapter was so cute! Nooh at having no aux port! What are you using now to play music in your car?
