I can’t stop thinking about how many people in his inner circle must have known that this abuse was going on and never once stepped in to help her. It’s nauseating.
Charlemagne was on Z100 yesterday saying how based on the apology, Diddy is still thinking he can salvage his business and at this point he needs to realize there’s no saving it, which if Charlemagne is telling you you’re dead, it might be time to just lie down.
According to this article, streams for his music dropped noticeably after his apology video which seems to indicate that a lot of people didn’t believe it happened until they saw video footage of him abusing her:
When comparing Combs’ U.S. catalog streams during the first week of December - two weeks after Cassie Ventura sued him - with streams of his catalog during the week ending May 16, there was a 51.8 percent decrease for songs under his stage name Diddy from 2,624,000 streams to 1,265,000 streams, according to Luminate, which tracks music streams and sales.
As Puff Daddy during the same period, he saw a similar drop: there was a 48.3 percent decrease from 1,359,000 streams to 703,000 streams. Under his stage name Diddy, the change was very small: a 2.1 decrease from 604,000 streams to 591,200 streams.
And Peloton finally announced this week that they won’t be using his music in new classes (for now):
Amid Combs’ decrease in streams, assault allegations, and the security video, Peloton announced that the company has “paused the use” of the rapper-producer’s music, according to People. The fitness brand shared their decision on Tuesday after a fan expressed concern in a private Peloton Facebook group, saying, “Dear Peloton, Your next purge needs to be all Diddy classes. Signed, women everywhere.”
Peloton responded to the comment on Facebook, telling the group member that the company takes “this issue very seriously.”
“[We] can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs’ music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform,” a spokesperson wrote on the platform per People. “This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a member of our Peloton community.”
I'm so glad she is finding love and support and it seems her husband is a decent, nice person who's in her corner. It sucks that she has to ask people to believe victims first because she knows that if the video never came out, there's people who would never believe her. May he rot in hell.

Pressing charges isn't the right move for all victims, but I respect she decided to this knowing the details would come out.
