tbh I'm scared to watch this and ruin the original movie for me LMAO idk why. Same with the trailer for Twisters! They're movies that to me didn't need sequels...
(Although when I heard The Matrix Resurrections was coming out I still saw that in theaters opening day and loved it lmao I'm a weirdo.)

LMAO I went to Universal Studios Orlando before both came out (I was like 5 or 6 LOL) but Universal Studios Japan even in late 2008 didn't have either. I got ET, Jaws, the Terminator experience thing, and the 30-minute condensed version of Wicked half in Japanese/half in English.
ETA: I forgot lmao when I was studying abroad in Japan, me and a friend rented Beetlejuice that year and her host family had never seen it. They weren't the biggest fans haha. We also made them watch a few episodes of Farscape and they were VERY confused.
