i lowkey really enjoyed this show lol. basically a throwback to the heyday of network procedurals with essentially a romcom at the centre. didn't take itself too seriously. both leads are hot and their chemistry is really good. i only wish they would've just committed to being set in vancouver, because it's funny any time they use an establishing shot that is clearly vancouver but then they pretend it's "capital city" or whatever generic title it was lol. i'll be back for s2 though, especially after that cliffhanger.

I first read it as CW is bringing back Wild Cats, I was like...well they gotta do SOMETHING this decade

happy for vanessa, she's so fun and cute on this show. wish the male lead wasn't a black hole of charisma though. he's so boring and has no personality, and not in a fun grumpy way. vanessa deserves someone better to play off of. kinda wish they switched up the plot and had each season being her conning a new guy or something
