This timeline makes no sense, but who cares. I know I'll watch because of Brandy & Paolo Montalban playing Cinderella and Prince Charming, and because the songs from the previous movies (well, more so 2 and 3 than the first one) are fun to listen to.

Also Descendants book rant time: I'll never get over how in the books, almost all the villain kids loathed Auradon and Mal & co for being "goody two shoes" after they went & turned a new leaf, so to speak. The ending of the third book, a prequel to the third movie, was the discovery of a secret group of Auradon lovers who wanted to Auradon but had to hide it because all the other kids hated the idea... then the third movie opens with all the villain kids like giddy and happy to maybe go to Auradon. So ridiculous. I feel bad for the author because they set up tons of stuff for the book, but none of it got resolved because they presumably had to veer to the movie's plotlines.

I actually had to watch the trailer in full bc at first I was like "these girls are 5 times lighter than a paper bag" but then oh yeah there it is.
