idgaf I will be watching. I'm doing a OG rewatch and it's such a comfort show. Sure it's problematic in a sense but those were the times and the show was very forward thinking in many ways

I feel like a smarter person may have already created a video or dissertation to analyze this but I feel like it’s a “chicken or the egg” situation.

At the time the show was considered trail blazing and now it’s cringe worthy. Would we critique it as such if it didn’t happen?

Idt the show itself is cringe worthy, just some things that truly didn't age well at all (neither did Carrie bc she's still as uptight as ever). Like Samantha's storylines are generally on point, some of those topics could easily be done the same way today, except for a few updates here and there.
