don't shows get new titles even when they're continuations of a storyline as loophole to not give ppl (actors, writers, etc) a raise in pay? every time i see it i'm like hmmmm
I've read that Disney's contracts often specified a pay raise after 3 or 4 seasons, which is why so many of their popular shows had relatively short runs. And IIRC that's also why Netflix is super shady with the way they name seasons - like instead of a show having "season 3 and 4," which makes logical sense, they'll have "season 3 part 1" and then MONTHS later, "season 3 part 2." This way the show still officially has only 3 seasons and they don't have to honor the contractual rate increase after x number of seasons.
Is anyone watching who can tell me if I need to watch season 1 or if I can just jump into 2? I fell off season 1 for some reason, may have been access to Max but I can't recall. I love a little scary show and could def use some thrills in my watching lately.
