this episode really delivered. another wild moment was when bob mentioned not knowing where kathie was buried out of nowhere. i hope he'll one day slip up again and finally say where she is.

I wrestled with the thought of telling you (before you edited) but I was like “well i don’t want to be the one to spoil you” as I’m sure it’ll be revealed in the next ep 🤣

Another great episode. I can’t believe how bad Bob was on the stand lmao

It’s Baaaaaawb!!!! Gets me every single time lol

I really wish this ass had the guts to let Kathy’s family know where she was buried before he bit it. Although he did say he didn’t know in this episode lol I hope one day they will get that closure.

The way he spoke on the stand was so annoying. Like dude, just clear your throat and speak clearly, this is clearly an act and a bad one at that.

The judge is this rounds' MVP for me. He has a sort of pained diplomatic persona and Jarecki knows how to use it to very good comedic effect. Like when he says he listened the jailhouse phone calls between Durst and Stewart Altman, when Durst's defense team was trying to claim Altman was his lawyer. Cut from Durst saying "I took a giant dump this morning" to the judge saying "Clearly these were not professional calls".

The only time I've ever felt bad for Durst was when his lawyers fled the state like whipped curs the second the verdict was handed down without even bothering to tell him. He paid those assholes $12 million!

hbo coming through with the only real appointment tv here! &last week tonight but they're off this week :(

man this documentary is so good and so wild; it truly goes to show how hubris is usually the downfall of men with money, power, and influence because they usually are able to exploit the justice system, society, and the people around them, employing the best lawyers and getting acquitted on technicalities, but inevitably there is a limit to how much they can get away with whether it's actual crimes, or flaunting and bragging about breaking the law (see also: diddy, 45 etc)

like LITERALLY none of this would have happened if durst hadn't reached out to jarecki re: all the small things (the movie about kathie's disappearance starring rgosling and kdunst)!
