I am not surprised by the champagne. I remember when I was a bottle service assistant and one of the regulars was loaded and would ask me to sit and have a glass of Cristal with him and his cousins because I was the hardest working person there to him lol. Bosses allowed it and omfg cheap sparkling wine and champagne was so much better than the Cristal. I still drank it as not to be rude and he tipped me like crazy but 🤮.

Same - it makes me laugh to see every single person start out totally confident that they can tell the fancy stuff from the cheap stuff and then get shocked when they inevitably pick the wrong one. Bianco Del Rio's was hilarious, as was the Kristen Wiig/Josh Lucas one. Their utter disbelief when they have made a whole list of reasons why this item is definitely expensive/cheap never fails to make me laugh.
