I'm feeling so underwhelmed this season, and I'm not sure why.

It doesn't have the narrative structure and relationship connections that I feel super hard (like Deb teaching Ava to swim, telling Ava about not burning the ex's house down, etc) and this season feels like it is lacking extended emotional moments (like Ava asking Deb why she dates men if she hates them), and this season does not feel cohesive at all.

It's a scattered mess IMO.
