Repeat abuse patterns are fucking awful. It has nothing to do with Charlyne and everything to do with overentitled and dangerous fucks being allowed to act carte blanche

The more a person faces abuse, the more likely they are to face future abuse. It's a known phenomenon and there are many factors

And no matter how much evidence you give, how many papers you cite, people hear about these repeating patterns and best blame the victim, but usually just deny their experience. It's infuriating.

I've spent so much time and money on therapy and I still can't fully find it in my heart to believe my own story
