I continue to love this silly show. I read all of the books last year but I've already forgotten a lot of the details. As a result, there are some things in S2 that are different from the books and there are some things that I'm a little fuzzy on. I really liked the changes they made for S1 but there are definitely some longer lasting repercussions (mostly to do with which characters are still alive and well in Ohio on the show). One con is that because they have all of last season's characters plus new characters this season, I feel like the secondary characters are not getting as much screen time. But it's early in the season so maybe that will change now that they've established the new people?
I like that Mike is trying to show Todd that being a vampire isn't as glamorous and easy as he thinks it is because Todd has really been idealizing it as just some cool club he wants to join without taking into account the practicalities of what it entails. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against incubi, but I don't trust Claire's dad at all!
