Apparently he isn't done filming. He filmed a little, then left to start filming that other movie in NYC and websites were reporting he was done filming TLoU and then had to retract that when HBO said he wasn't.

Yeah that would not surprise me in the least. I haven’t played either game but am a gamer with gamer friends who talk, and from what I’ve heard the second game is brutally devoid of joy. Now why would I subject myself to that when I can just continue existing in this world for the same effect 😂

The show hasn't cast a lot of the characters from the second game yet so I wonder if this season will be split between Joel and Ellie and Abby and her group while season 3 will cover the majority of the game. Which would be fine with me.

Yeah Lev and Yara not being cast makes me think it will probably end around the moment at the theater.

Ian was the voice of and model for Lev in the game, but I would think he's a bit old for the role now? Lev is supposed to be about 13.
