Guess I know what I'll be watching this weekend. I can't do weekly shows anymore - rather just wait for the entire season to be out. I know that bingeing a series also isn't good because you don't remember the individual episodes as much.

This finale went LEFT with just about everything that I was expecting, and while I can respect that they didn't head in the path that they seemed to be leading towards, and thus keeping fans on their toes, I have to say that I was surprised, and not entirely pleasantly so.

Love this series. Enjoyed the episode. I did love "his name was Gambit, Remember It!" and I loved seeing Jubes "level up" based off of her time with digi-Jubes. I found that everyone just being hunky dory with Rogue and Roberto, even under the circumstances, without throwing a modicum of shade, was a little off. Plus, would Sunspot even be able to survive in outerspace like that? I liked that they went to the blue area, which we know has air, but there were places where I felt like there wouldn't be and none of the characters I felt would have problems being in that environment had problems.

Hopefully coming soon, an ONTD original, ranking the episodes of X-Men 97. Likely Sunday. I want to watch the whole series in one go, and Sunday is the best day for me to do

if they can defend storm having zero reaction to one of her best friend’s deaths, the lack of time spent building her relationship with forge in lifedeath, or give zero interiority or explanation to all the choices they had rogue ping-ponging between in the same episode since ep 5, i’m fine with them ignoring that, too, cause lord knows i sure as hell was lmao

but yeah, mostly agreed. i still really liked some moments, but i’m not effusive over this ep the way most seem to be

It might very well be my least favorite of the 3 parter. I know episode 2 is my favorite of this last bunch.

Anyway that guy who was fired being quiet is working the best angle right now; with no word on why he was fired and the praise the show gets, disney will probably rehire him as he's saying nothing, similar to Gunn.

given that he was fired from the witcher for being serially (emotionally AND physically) abusive to his staff, and disney likely didn't blow that up as to not sour people on the show itself, i really hope he never works again.

I'm glad Magneto isn't a vegetable because I'm on his side. The whole time he and Charles were in his mind I was just like SHUT UP whenever Charles was talking.

I'm so happy Rogue got in her licks for Remy and it's so great to see her being so strong after she was severely depowered in the movies.

Also, wtf, where is Storm? I didn't think I saw her in the past or future, right?

I haven't kept up with the comics are Wanda and Pietro still not considered mutants? Just because Forge had Wanda on his board as off planet, so I'm guessing she's a mutant in the show.

This has continuity from the original series, so Wanda and Pietro should still be Magneto's mutants kids (and he mentions his children in the final ep) though they may be subtle about it to not step on any MCU toes.
