This week Sarah Paulson appeared on the Smartless podcast hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. While discussing celebrities coming backstage to meet the cast after a play, Jason asked if they accept criticism from these visitors

And this Trish woman is 79 according to the internet, and hasn't had many roles it looks like. Way to punch down, damn. So petty.

And Sarah says she "added this to the pile of things my mother has done."

Maybe so, but looking someone up and down while commenting on their clothes and then proceeding to send them a unsolicited 6 page diatribe on what they did wrong and how "they" would do it differently is rude as fuck.

I agree. I think her airing this really shows what a grip this woman has on her. It makes me cringe. But that may just be me.
