I know I was rooting for Travis and Taylor in earlier posts about them, but now? I'm so over it.

I haven't listened to TTPD but from what I've heard about it (and what she's said about herself on other albums), homegirl is truly unhinged and craves melodrama. Travis gives me the feeling that - when he's not in Football Star Mode - he's very laid back and won't enable her doing shit like crying in the rain because she didn't get her pick for movie night. It could end up boring her, or the Power Couple aspect might be enough for her to stick it out and force her to actually grow up.

I agree with much of your comment and believe too that this Power Couple dynamic might inspire her to grow up...but I'm skeptical. If she grows up, I feel like her source material for her lyrics goes away, you know?

I'd argue that Folkmore/Evermore are what comes from her brief periods of growth, but at this point who is to say whether that's just because Joe was her best muse/collaborator, because she wasn't making those albums for anyone but herself, because she was isolated from her sycophants, or because she had actually experienced growth with Joe before she regressed?
