It was like 8 seasons of the tv show crammed into 2 hours, complete with opium trip sequence, shootouts, death scenes, war in the trenches, weddings, with multiple scene set ups and a live rock band...it was a LOT

Extraordinary was robbed. If y'all haven't watched it yet, please do - what a wonderful, special show.

I love Joe Lycett. When I feel a bit sad I watch his bit about his spirit animal and parking tickets in Leeds, it's hysterical.

Okay Steven knight and his enablers at the BBC need to be STOPPED (he wrote the peaky blinders dance show though idk how much there was to "write") and apparently the BBC last aired a filmed version on new years day (its literally on iplayer rn) now months later they ~remind~ ppl at the BAFTAs because what it's still touring through 2024 two years after its debut- oh wait no it's actually to remind ppl and drum up press that the movie is finally shooting this fall allegedly

My hate for Steven knight and this dumbass show and its chokehold on white dudes aside this whole choice is kinda gross to me like was Damien Lewis there? Did they clear it with him/give him and the audience (which includes helens friends and coworkers) a heads up beforehand? Cause the second I saw the Polly character I was like 😭

Always love seeing Harriet Walter in things, and she looks incredible here! What a career she's had.

Elizabeth Debicki looks great, too.

I recently found out she's Christopher Lee's niece! Which somehow makes her cooler?
