With age come perspective; it's a sign of growth. It's not a bad thing, it's just that you realize certain things as you get older, and relationships where you thought you were in love was just lust/infatuation/a toxic mess.

I think a lot of people settle due to fear of being alone and so end up with people they don't really love. :/
