Always reminds me of when my friend from Australia came to stay with me and could NOT get over how many ads we had for medications on American tv. They were like, "this is NORMAL?? you people get pills suggested to you ALL THE TIME like this?!!" it really is insane if you stop and think about it. Enough with the drugs.

Honestly it is bizarre - its illegal almost everywhere else in the world to advertise prescription medicines to the general public but in the US (and NZ for some reason) its fine

Oh we're past Aspirin, that's a children's game here in the US. They're slinging weight loss drugs and anti-depressants with ridiculously long lists of potential side effects including "don't take drug x if you're allergic to drug x" now. I'd be relieved to just see an aspirin ad.
