The Coopers return this CBS Fall in new Young Sheldon spinoff series GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE.

The new CBS Original comedy follows Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) as they raise their young family in Texas while navigating the challenges of adulthood, parenting and marriage.
The title seems to be a reference to Sheldon

I recently had TBBT on in the background because I’m going through a phase where I need background noise, but don’t want to pay attention to it, so it has to be something I don’t care about. Sheldon has to be one of the worst characters ever written for TV. He’s so awful to absolutely everyone and even when he “learns” something, he doesn’t integrate into his life and he’s just as much an asshole to everyone in his life in future episodes.

Know nothing about this because I didn’t watch Young Sheldon, but I love Emily, so I hope this works out for her.

I’m probably not going to watch it, but I like the kid who plays Georgie. He has a certain charm about him.

Young Sheldon is a pretty good show other than the fact that Sheldon is just as insufferable as he is in TBBT. All the other characters are good and get a lot of attention, though, and he seems to be barely around in this last season.

One thing I find really distracting is the lens softening or whatever they are doing for Annie Potts. She’s practically a blur.

Yeah, the Georgie actor is very charming.

For y'all who haven't seen this show, his relationship with Emily's character is wild. They met at a bar & lied about their ages and she got pregnant! He was 17 (said 21) and she was 29 (said 25). It's an interesting family drama.

He’s got a Patrick Swayze quality about him, and I like how they leaned into that in the episode where the mum was crushing on Swayze and then realised her son looked like him, lol.

Funny you say that there was an episode where the mom is like obsessed with the movie Roadhouse and has a thing for Patrick Swayze's character, until it's pointed out he looks like her son.

it is?? Well my interest has dropped a lot now.

It could be fine i suppose, but figured they'd wanna stick with the single camera thing that people grew to love on this show.

With that said, i think what i'd actually like is a one-off episode of Big Bang Theory shot like a single camera show like Young Sheldon.
Maybe that will happen in the finale.

Even though I do not watch any of those these...I commend them on trying to keep a solid continuity instead of taking the easy road and just diverging off into something new
