It's been a while but I had this weird run in with a half French dude. His bedroom looked so plain, all basic office furniture, like no personality with a matrass on the floor for no apparent reason. A matrass on the floor can totally be a deliberate aesthetic choice but when combined with the rest of that lifeless room it was apparent he just didn't care lol. And the rest of the house (His moms I guess) was super cute! He was nice tho, just a little weird.

The secret is to be a minimalist and clean weekly your personal stuff. I’m in the process of moving and I gave away so much stuff that was sitting for literal years in my apartment, not being used! And like 3/4 of my wardrobe. If you don’t want clutter, don’t buy too much, that way you don’t have to store it
