this is a stronger trailer than the teaser one imo

it sounds to me like leslye headland (the showrunner) has a really strong creative vision for this, so hopefully that translates to screen. being in the high republic era will be a breath of fresh air as well.

yeah I'm hoping this will be really good! It looks interesting and you're right, being set in this era is a good move. I hope someday they'll do Knights of the Old Republic. the universe is too big to confine things to one era!!!!

Is it just me or is there some really bad acting/line reading in that trailer?

Anyway, it looks much better than the teaser. As long as it’s not a complete, unemotional snooze fest like Ahsoka was…

It's the first thing I noticed. It's like they're replicating the muted, lobotomized acting choices everyone except Ezra had in Ahsoka. If that's the dialogue they selected to get people engaged in the show I'm worried what the rest of the show is going to be like.

It’s just that every character has the same personality; just stoic.

The trailer is too vague for me to really get a sense of any characters or specific conflicts between them, just [insert Force-user mentor dressed in pale clothes] vs [insert Force-user former student dressed in black] which is boring to me. If I wanted a mad-lib Star War, I'd make my own. We shall see in a month if it's interesting. I hope being away from all the Skywalker stuff will bring some fresh dynamics to the 'verse.
