This show is so weird to explain to people lmao is it good yes! Does it drag out the same dumb fights over 30 years? Absolutely! Is karate really the make or break of a town? For sure. It makes sense.

Will you realize you still have a crush on William Zabka and have a picture of you and him as your phone background? Absolutely.

The show has been so great. The way they have managed to bring back a lot of the cast from different movies together and make it work, while introducing a new cast in the mix, has been a joy to watch. I still hate Miguel got hurt and won't forgive them for that, but I love this quirky show. its not perfect, but def entertaining and watching the transformation of Johnny Lawrence has been a major highlight for me. My fav character on the show.

I also had to tell myself a long time ago, people have football towns and go all out, so why not karate towns lol. This way when people start busting out karate in church, swimming pools or malls or arcades or drive-ins. I'm like well its expected duh, so I don't roll my eyes. lol

Its been pretty consistent in quality even if i question some choices that were made but after a while you just learn to go with it and root for everyone that's not Kreese. It's not for everyone and I get that.

I love that you bring up football. Being from the south I understand all about it being the way of life growing up (even tho I hated it lol) so its an apt comparison.

When they had the fight in the mall I was like, sure. Why not? It's a karate show 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, a ~three part event~? Being cute about it doesn't change the fact that they are releasing five episodes at a time in four month increments. That's just stupid. More and more shows are pulling this shit, and it is a terrible idea. I'll still watch, of course, but with RAGE in my heart!!!

Yeah, that's annoying. I guess they wanna stretch it as much as they can, since its the end. I know Ralph has a KK movie in the works with Jackie Chan and rumor its 2025. So I wonder if this being stretched out and ending in 2025 has to do with any of that. I haven't read up to see if any of this connected yet.

I'm really hoping they bring back the vibe & feel from Season 1 to go out on. I love this show, but something about when Miguel got hurt, it really dampened things for me. I'm still annoyed about all that. Don't get me wrong. The show is great and I love all the season, but I'm really hoping it takes a turn from the vibe of the last couple of seasons, cause I'm really missing the good vibes and humor from Season 1.

Seconding all of this. And I'm so not even a little here for Johnny and his do-over baby with Carmen when he hasn't even made any actual effort to fix things with Robby. I'm still gonna give this season a chance but I'm not super optimistic.

I hope they don't put all the focus on the new baby, esp since we're just now seeing Johnny and Robby in a decent place. He has a lot of making up to do with him. A lot, more then anyone and we really need some one on one father/son time with those two, alone with no one else. I do also wanna see some one on one scenes of him and Miguel as well, since their bond is what we were first introduced too & I'd love to see a little of that again. If we get none of this tho and focus only on his new baby, its gonna be annoying. I'm hoping they have a girl tho.
