I will say, when the other Avengers fought internally, Thor stayed on mission. Homeboy was looking for clue and trying to prevent Ragnarok.

And After Thanos' snap he actually "coped" in a very human and relatable manner.
He was mad, vengeful, broken, sad

They downplayed it with the "fat" joke when really he was just going through it, and actually crying

I didn't like the jokes about his shape in Endgame, they were unnecessary.

I did not mind them taking him to this state though, as you said it's a relatable reaction to the trauma he experienced in Infinity War.

I feel like the pandemic + Taika drinking his own kool-aid really impacted the vibe of this movie. It's a shame, because it could've been fun.

Thor is my fave of the MCU and I've been mad since Ragnarok lol didn't even bother with Endgame or L&T

So yeah. Please give us something better.

I hope this give him another chance. Thor had the 2nd 3rd best arc in the whole franchise and then just ruined it in Endgame by doing the "he's fat because he's depressed" bit. How do you take all the growth from Ragnarok and Infinity War and just waste it like that?!?!?
