One of my favorite things about heartstoppers is Darcy and Tara. I know if this was 20 years ago I would have been obsessed with them.

I stopped OITNB when Poussey died. I always mean to finish but haven't yet.

I never cared about Shane. I liked her more on the revival but that might have been because everyone sucked. My favorites were Alice and Helena.

I'm still sad that Shotgun Mary wasn't in season 2. The show wasn't the same for me without her.

Not on this list but I loved Anissa and Grace. I was so upset that when they finally made Grace a main castmember and then the show got cancelled. Pissed me off that they weren't more popular. But I know why.

I loved them, and it drove me crazy they weren't more popular because they had all the hallmarks that make a femslash ship huge. But yeah, it's always disconcerting to see it play out like that, even though it shouldn't surprise me.

I appreciate that this post/the full list focuses not only fan favorites but also the importance of each depiction (seeing diversity, history, older lesbians, lesbians who don't die, etc), though it sadly does reveal that representation is still a little lacking for gender and body diversity. I know it exists, I'd just like to see more of it in mainstream shows and them being favorite characters.

Tara/Willow from Buffy and Ricky from MSCL were the rep I grew up on. I really wish theh had brought Tara back as I read it had been planned, but I get the actress wanting to do other things (and probably get away from Whedon).
