It’s still strange how his concert in Israel was just days before Oct 7. I remember people including myself side eying him for agreeing to play to begin with. Wonder what he thinks of the genocide and atrocities happening.

He was supposed to play a second concert on October 7th, but fled the country after the attacks. He never mentioned anything about it. Not even a "sad for the lives lost from both sides" or "praying for peace" or whatever PR statement. He just posted a praying emoji on Twitter.

I don't think he cares AT ALL about Palestine. He played a series of concerts in countries with "democracy issues" such as Saudi Arabia and Georgia, and only cancelled his Qatar concert because his equipment was stuck in Israel.

Silk Sonic's album is so good. People here called it too cheesy to listen t (it is cheesy) but it works and the songs are fun.
