Seeing her go on a method acting journey to play Gaga in a random movie would be a fun documentary concept.

I hate how Tumblr is so clearly suppressing people's voice toward human rights issues. For the last 2-3 years now, every time users makes a lot of posts on local and world social events and these posts trend a lot,a few days later there will be an App update. The update always have these trending social topics disappear.

Now, after the last updates, the students protest in U.S. against the war on Gaza stopped trending, and Tumblr took away the recommendation options where you can look at popular and also random posts. It's much harder for users to be aware of the current social issues if they don't go searching for it.

I don't use Facebook and X so Tumblr is how sometimes I run into new social happenstance when browsing the recommendation tag. It sucks cause Tumblr is where hateful posts are least likely to trend on the top 10 so you are less likely to run into it unless you search for it.

Same with Instagram. They changed their settings to include a “hide political posts” that it automatically defaults to. I was missing out on SO much before I knew to change that setting, even with purposefully staying connected with it all.

I think there’s definitely good critical art that could come out of how socials is suppressing this stuff but enabled a literal insurrection BUT I don’t care what a dude who’s fine with genocide has to say about it all.

Tumblr became unusable with all the ads and random posts from people I don’t even follow.
