Without ONTD, I wouldn't have been know that she has a new song
I listened to it one time and already forgot everything about it
I liked her old song with Sam Smith, wish she would go back to that sound

Lol people are so mean!! 😅😅😅

But idk I think it’s been pretty clear she doesn’t want big fame going by her aesthetic choices. I’ve even wondered if she wants a career cause I could’ve sworn I read an article that also had her mom in it, and Normani was describing how she liked being in fifth harmony and a girl group in general and I’m forgetting some detail but I remember at one point her mom being like did you just like being in a girl group cause you could hide in it.

idk i get the sense that while she's clearly talented she doesn't have a strong artistic vision which is why being in a girl group was good for her, someone else is making those decisions. but now that she's solo and she has to make those decisions herself she's struggling.

I agree with this. It looks like the label saw she could do pop music but she doesn't particularly want that.

The only vision I guess she wants for herself is that late-night r&b vibe.

This could be describing TTPD.

this isn't against you or anything, just something i noticed and your comment reminded me - no matter what female artist is being talked about on sm, swifties ALWAYS insert her into the narrative and compare her to the topic at hand. i saw some video of ari singing acapella and someone came in with "taylor swift does it better" or something and i was like who... was talking about her? wild.

All she needs to focus on is building up a body of work. Tour, do appearances, just get in front of people and work your music.

She is lazy it seems. Tinashe has been working hard, kinda in same position, just more talented.

Tinashe released 100x more music, though.

While she does, I love how releasing 100x more music can really just be releasing like, what, 10 songs at the least, in 5 years lmao
