Nobody gives a fuck about superhero movies anymore. Not enough to make them giant box office record breakers like they used to be.

Deadpool x Wolverine will be an outlier bc of all the love and nostalgia the general public has for Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of the character and all the fuss he made about “retiring” him after Logan. But the world has proven recently that the market is just crazy oversaturated and even little kids barely care anymore.

also after Madam Web, Sony is probably shook and knows this isn't anything someone wants to watch. Sony non-Spider-man movies have turned into the laughing stock of superhero movies that Fox's Fantastic Four used to be.

This character was so annoying in Spiderman PS5. The best part of that game was when you [Spoiler (click to open)]became Venom and bit his head off. I had no interest in this before but after the game, I definitely don't want to watch this.
