The plot summary for Humane reminds me of Silent Night from a few years ago. I hated the latter bc it was marketed as like a black comedy, but it was just thoroughly bleak.

Oh and I got tickets to see the 25th anniversary re-release of The Mummy tomorrow!

I was going to hit up the free movie night at our local drive-in tonight since one of the options is Dune: Part 2, but I suspect that particular movie will really suffer from the poor audio quality you get at the drive-in, so I'll probably skip it.

I finished the Japanese Cherry Magic tv show, hoping to see the Thai version eventually. Then re-watched Late Night With the Devil. I'm trying to decide what to watch next, my list is so long. I'll probably end up watching Love For Love's Sake again because why not lol

Super excited for Humane, I love the Cronenberg. Gimmie all the head trauma! Boy Kills World with Bob Belcher, of course, Infested and Dancing Village: The Curse Begins all sound like a lot of fun!

right?!?! once I saw the title and the description, I got the code for the trailer as fast as possible so I would not have to watch any spider activity, lol

I know frogs eat spiders but kermit's shivering resonated with me

i hit play on the boy kills world trailer for michelle dockery (i so want her to have a better career) and was not expecting bob belcher as the voice of bill skarsgard lmao

this week i watched rebel moon part 2 and... [i don't know what i expected.jpg] not good. i almost turned it off, but left it on basically as background noise. also watched immaculate because i was raised catholic so i couldn't resist lol. overall it was alright, very predictable script (and i felt like i knew the ending solely based off people's reactions). i finally got to monkey man as well and i really enjoyed it! hopefully we'll see dev direct more in the future.

seeing the mummy re-release this weekend with my sister since it's one of her favourite movies! i've been checking all month to see if cineplex would play it here and they finally put up the showtimes. really eager to see challengers as well when i have time (made mummy a priority since it'll likely only be this weekend).
