I don't want them to win because I don't think they're the best team at racing (even in this season of mostly dud teams). Cesar and Ricky are by far better racers so I really hope they win.

Yup - they’ve been on as long as Survivor, maybe premiered a year later so often it’s twice a year. I think survivor is in the 40s now so TAR has taken a few years to just be one season

The did 2 seasons a year for the first 15 years or so. The went to one season for a few years recently and have now gone back to two seasons a year.

Phil & Jeff were both considered to host Survivor, but CBS went with Jeff & put Phil on TAR and I know the first season of Survivor aired in 2000.
