If you like totally ridiculous telenovela style soaps, you will enjoy. Everyone backstabs everyone, everyone has deep dark secrets, but also everyone is tremendously stylish, and they all make friends again on the next episode, only to backstab somebody else. It's hilarious.

For me, it's a fun, silly, colorful soap opera so I enjoy it. I mean, Allison Janney talking to a whale? Ridiculous!

Capote vs the Swans got a lot of praise for casting older actresses but the series fell really flat and most of the actresses were wasted. I think that Palm Royale should be getting praise for casting older actresses and giving them more to do.
