The Cabaret choreographer bothered me because on the first day of rehearsal, one of the dancers asked a specific question about whether they should be looking to the front or the side while doing a certain move. Her response was basically "you do you." But on the second day of rehearsal, she started making corrections to detailed things like that. It is much easier to correct those things while you are learning the choreography. If you let people learn it the wrong way because you're trying to sound all free spirited and then you tell them to change it later, you just made things more difficult than necessary for the dancers

Maks is handsome. I don't know a lot about dancing, I thought the group number was really cute.

Even who ends up in the bottom and why is total manipulation. Why didn’t they perform the Broadway numbers “live” in front of the audience? The shows whole bit is real world but in the real world, there is an audience.

I can’t prove it but the camera angles of each number suggests that there were multiple takes. So how can we even know who performed well and who is just getting a good edit?

The only reason I’m watching is long term loyalty to a show that doesn’t seem to exist anymore.

Not tryin to be a hater, I love Sammy this version just doesn't work for a dance routine, it's too vocalist centric compared to the broadway versions

I tried to circle back to this show recently because I used to really love it, but I hate this new format so much. ): It's a shame because there are some great dancers, though the ones they're cutting often don't make sense to me.
