Pro-Palestine activists disrupt comedian Chelsea Handler’s show in Virginia

Two pro-Palestine protesters were removed from American comedian Chelsea Handler’s show on Friday.
One of the protesters was heard shouting, “Children are dying with our tax dollars.”

A peaceful protest done well. This isn't commentary on others happening, which are (mostly) peaceful.

A point was made, people got annoyed, others paid attention. And perhaps someone had a thought that they didn't consider before.

Chelsea Handler is a jerk, regardless.

This was in my city and gave me a little bit of hope to know that it happened. It also gives me a bit more hope to see that it's being shared more widely. I've been struggling with hope around issues like this lately, so seeing things like this are, to me, a broader version of Mr. Rogers's "look for the helpers" - looking for those who are speaking up.

i couldn't get over all the people gleefully pointing out the protestors to security.

i once shared a post that said israel a settler-colonial project, and a person i know responded that i was wrong, and when i responded saying zionists described themselves as colonists she retorted with "i guess this is how the holocaust started". but no, it's the quickness with which people will sell their neighbor out in the name of compliance how fascism grows.
