I was looking at her 2000s filmography and it might have either Princess Diaries 1 or 2 (probably 2) or Ella Enchanted, just because those were ones where she was the lead and they'd need a guy to have good chemistry with her, and particularly those were ones where the kiss scene was a big deal. Which is unfortunate because those are all sweet films otherwise :(

While this entire story is still....gross, if it's one of these movies, I take a crumb of comfort knowing at least the male leads were age appropriate and not 10 years older.

Agreed - Hugh Dancy is a bit older but not grossly so - and I've never heard anything bad about the guys they chose for any of them, though it's possible some of the rejected guys were sketchier. :(

I had a situation (swing dance class) where 4 guys in a row kissed the back of my hand as I was so grossed out and felt the need to immediately disinfect after, I can't imagine full on kissing 10 strangers.

I feel like if you can't tell if two people would have chemistry from them reading flirty lines, you're doing it wrong. The buildup is more important than the actual kiss most of the time.
